Our family business, QBEE HONEY FARMERS, was established in 1997. The 3 Directors (brothers) Herman, Jan and Nelson De la Querra, provide honey from 3 different regions; from the West Coust, through the Western Cape, all the way to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo. This area hosts a wide variety of fynbos, eucalyptus trees and lusern in the country.

The Honey is harvested in a radius of 1000km and the De la Querra brothers harvest more than 50% of the honey that is bottled. Honey is also bought from smaller Western and Southern Cape beekeepers that follow the same principals and quality standards as QBEE HONEY FARMERS; this practice ensures local job creation within these communities and is also our way of giving back.

All the honey is transported to the depot in Klein Joostenberg, near Stellenbosch, where the pure South African honey is bottled, packed and distributed to various chain stores country wide.
